The original structure was built in 1915, designed by the same architect, Jamieson, who designed original buildings on Washington University’s campus. The 5,000 square foot new addition is a three-story structure linking the original house with the carriage house. When construction is complete, the total square footage of this residence will be approximately 15,000 square feet. The site and new details are compatible with the original historic character of the residence. Additions include a sauna, cabana, office, fitness room and master bath. The site includes pool, terraces, hot tub, tennis court, gazebo and landscaping, including topiary and sculptures with total addition and renovation construction cost estimated at $3 million.
